At age 21, I scored two incredible internships in New York City: one at photo agency MAGNUM PHOTOS and another at photographer Annie Leibovitz’s studio. Classic photojournalism and celebrity editorial portraiture, as a duality, has since shaped my approach to writing in which a journalistic eye enlivens the commercial, celebrity-endorsed side to luxury brands.

I love language, logic, and meaning, derived from studying classical languages and the history of philosophy. For almost 20 years as a journalist and copywriter, I have used this to write about niche perfume, high jewelry, luxury hospitality, Haute Couture, champagne and art—for media based in Paris, London and Beirut. I have extensive experience working on branded editorial content, including launching full-on magazines backed by brands.

I am not a fashion photographer, but throughout these experiences I have had many unique opportunities to take photographs, some of which I fortunately didn’t miss (many I did). Photography will always be my first love, writing my principal craft and most enduring marriage.
